This post will cover Thursday through Sunday.
Thursday was almost a regular day for me. I arose about seven and did my usual thing of applying heat to my back and knee and then I had breakfast which consisted of a bowl of granola and maybe a cookie.:) I then checked the Internet to see if there was any news from Utah and there wasn't any I was interested in. After Jeri and I had sufficient rest we packed our bags, and placed some of them in the pickup along with the boxes of granola, for the move to the reunion area, which is about 20 or 30 miles up the road to Lost Trail Pass. This didn't take very much time. I then I did what I do best, and Jeri used up some time on facebook, which is a good thing for her, and for me, she reads to me the comments that people post on facebook and this kind of keeps me posted on things that my family and friends are doing. Terry and Joan came home early and prepared for the journey tomorrow. It was a good day for me!
Friday morning I arose about six-thirty and sit around until everyone else was awake and then we loaded the rest of our stuff into the pickup and we waited while the rest of the family to be ready to leave; we left Pinesdale about ten-thirty and me wended our way to Hamilton where I filled the gas tank and bought a newspaper while Jeri went next door and bought some treats to give to our grandchildren at the reunion. We arrive around noon and I brought most of the stuff into our suite, and I do mean a suite fit for royalty, it had a king size bed and a TV so Jeri could watch the tennis matches. I also had some of the family take the chairs to the area around the fire pit in anticipation for the evening gabfest. Mike and his family came to Montana on Wednesday and spent Thursday in Glacier National Park and environs and didn't get back to Hamilton until Rather late in the evening. Mike had forgotten to bring Patrice her blood pressure meds so she 'bummed' :) three pills from me. Joan marked the exit that the Utahans should take and they arrived mid-afternoon.
Terry and his family cooked all of our meals and they were also fit for a king, which of course is very appropriate .:) Most of Friday and Saturday was worn away by talking, while the young male adults? were showing how testosterone effects their brains.:) And the really young were having fun playing with each other.
Saturday was almost like Friday, and there was no rain or incidents that would cause any consternation. On Sunday I was up and about before anyone else showed their face outside, which means I was the first one out and about. We loaded the Utah chairs into the pickup and I put our stuff onto the back seat and then said our goodbyes. Mike and his family left at ten; they had to be in Bountiful ready for a Priesthood Meeting at seven. Jeri and I, the Erbs' and the Higbees' left at eleven-thirty. We stopped at Roberts Idaho for gas and then Jeri and I were on our way home; the Higbees' and the Erbs' stopped in Pocotello for food. We arrived in bountiful shortly before six; it is marvelous how fast you can cover ground at 74 miles per hour. Because of the stop to eat Josh had to stop at Christophe's to get some clothes so he would be dressed-up for the ordination of Christian; Mike did the ordaining and did a really great job. Chris is ready to go on a mission, all he needs now is to get his 'call'.
The reunion was marvelously done by the Pinesdale bunch and I give them all of the credit for a wonderful time and for the wonderful time we had in Montana. The consensus is that we will probably go to Island Park in Idaho next year; I think that would be really good. Well that is about all for the reunion.

I was out of bed shortly after six this morning and it was not to soon; I thought all of my muscles had fossilized during the night. Today I finished two books that were really good. The first one was Three Cups of Green Tea; I think everyone will enjoy this book if you are persistent during the first several pages, and the other one was Mormon Women; out the fourteen interviewed I really enjoyed 12, I thought the other two were 'full of them selves' but then what do I know! The temperatures have taken a strong leap higher today and everyone is complaining about the heat; the big wimps. Terry, Joan, Jessica and Leon went to Missoula for the victuals for the family reunion and it looks like they will have plenty and enough to spare. The good Lord willing and the creek don't rise I shall post again tomorrow.
Tuesday June 23, 2009:
I would have made this post last night but for some reason the 'net' was down so here it is on Wednesday and I still don't have much to write about. Tuesday was a very ordinary day for me, I arose rather early and feed myself and the rest of the day was worn away doing what I do best, which some people might say is almost nothing but that is not what I would say. Hopefully
Wednesday will be chuck full of activity of the kind I can cope with. However, I am pleased to report that my back is getting better every day but, to quote some one I love a lot, it isn't all better yet.:).

Scott called last night to wish me a happy Father's Day; it was really great to talk to him. He indicated that he may come home for a visit in August. This morning I moseyed on down to Hamilton to purchase some viands and while I was there I bought some eye drops and a newspaper. I then came back to Terry's and did what I do best. This evening I bought another box of granola to take to Bountiful; I should have enough to last a few months. Of course it rained last night and again today but is supposed to be good weather tomorrow and the rest of the week, which will be a good thing for our reunion this coming weekend. Today was a good day for me; I stayed in bed until about six this morning and I have been using the heating pad to keep my muscles limber.:)

Today was a really good day; after all it is Father's Day. I arose this morning before six and have been very busy ever since. Melissa and her kids came for a noon meal and the rest of the family came latter in the day. It was hectic but it was really great to be with the family. I had a call from Kevin and I talked to Eric when he called Terry, and Lee called as did Temaire', and she called really early. The weather was really good except for that rain storm that showed up for a short time, however, the temperatures were on the cool side of comfortable for me but I think Jeri thought it is right. Jeri called Sherry today to see if she and John were coming to the reunion, and they are not coming because Sherry is not doing well physically. If there is any news worth reporting I shall add it in tomorrow's report.
Saturday June 20, 2009
I awoke at six a.m. and got out of bed after eight hours, which is about the longest I have been in bed since I fell getting out of the bed a couple of weeks ago. I just fooled around until the rest of the people that are living in this house were up and out of bed. I didn't do much except walking around trying to get my muscles working like they used to.:) This evening Terry and Joan treated Jeri and I to dinner at the Rib Hut, which was really good, and then they took us to an excellent movie; they said it was our Mother's Day and Father's Day presents. After we got back to their place we chatted until about eleven and then I went to bed, which seemed to motivate the others to retire for the night. It was a very good day for me.

Friday June 19, 2009
Today was a good day for me. I got out of bed shortly after four a.m. and deposited myself in the recliner, which means that I was in bed over six hours. Jeri and I just kinda did what we do best.:) I finished a really weird book that Jeri thought I would like; she has a great record of picking good books but this was not as good I thought it would be. This evening Jeri and I went to Melissa's to eat pizza and ice cream sundaes to celebrate David's 17th birthday, it seems that my children, and grandchildren, get older every year, I wonder why I don't. And of course it rained again today, which has been the norm since we have been here in Montana.
