It is almost time to go to bed. It was rather a busy day. I got up early and called the Doctor's office trying to get an appointment for Jeri, because of her pain. She injured her upper body someway a few days ago and she needs to see the doctor but it will tomorrow instead of today. However, I drove to 45th South on Highland Dr. to see my foot doctor about the callus of got while we were in Floriday in the winter of 2007; he wants to try some things before he chisels away some of the bone in my foot, which is alright with me. It was rather cool when I left shortly after ten. I then came home and rested most of the day. Oh, I made another loaf of bread we go through a loof of home made bread and a couple of boughten loaves in 3 or 4 days. It keeps me off the streets and outa Jeri's hair. I think this is to only time I've seen willing to go see the doc. I'll let you know tomorrow how it went.

I just finished talking to Terry and he reminded me of a story he told a few years ago about a neighbor of his that made home-made bread, from scratch, for her young son to sell to the neighbors; she said a side effect of this endeavor was it kept her fingernails clean.lol So Katie that would be an incentive for you to make it from scratch instead of using the bread-maker.:) He reported that they only had a skiff of snow this morning but then they don't need the snow pack as much as we do. Well th-th-thats all for now.

It is now Monday morning, and we have about 3 inches of new snow on the landscape, and it is rather chilly. My sweetheart is sound asleep at the hour of ten AM and she is feeling better than she has in last week. As you all know she has had a pain in her upper body. She kinda snuggled up close to me last night and gave just enough room for me to wiggle a little, however, that was just fine with me. Everyone has gone their separate ways and the two of us are here and are as snug as a bug in a rug. This is for Katie. Yesterday when I went to the Barrs he was making a batch of bread and he wasn't using a bread maker so there must be a very small percent of people that still do that but I can't understand why.

Well, it's Sunday and the wind blew like crazy most of last night. Jeri wasn't feeling very good; she did some damage to her back or front last week and she couldn't get any sleep so she stayed home hoping for some sleep but it didn't work. When the rest of got home she was just like she was when we left, so she talked to Patrice about the symptoms and Patrice told her what she thought it might be and after assuring Jeri it wouldn't have an effect on her clotting problem she gave her a Celebrex pill and then Jeri had a nap that lasted a couple of hours and her body seems to feel better than it did. While we were at church we acquired about 4 inches of snow and the temperatures have gone to the dark side of warm, however, it stopped right after church and it hasn't snowed anymore, yet. I went Home Teaching this afternoon to the Barrs family, which consists of David and Mary Ellen. I would guess they are in there 40s and pushing rather hard on the 50s. This the third time I have been, and it is kinda good to get back in the swing of things. Oh, by the way we were asked to speak in church on the 12th, which is Easter Sunday and we were asked to speak on the Lord's Holy Temple; meaning the body, which I thought was going to be tough but I think I'm going to like that subject, and Jeri has got her brain wrapped around some things that she likes, which isn't in conflict with mine. I guess two weeks will tell how it all comes out. It is now Sunday evening and it looks like more snow will be coming our way. The weather guys are saying it will be a messy commute tomorrow morning. Oh well, we need the water for this coming summer. That' all folks

This morning I'm listening to some great music that I recorded decades ago; right know it is Cool Water. They don't make music like that any more, which is not a good thing.

Yesterday was a very interesting day to say the very least. Mid-morning Jayci called to ascertain if Jeri and I could come to 7100 South and retrive her after she had surgery on her jaw to correct a problem with one of her teeth, and of course being two of those doting grandparents we were soon on our way, however, we had to clean a couple of inches of snow off of our windshield before we left. When we arrived at the dentist's office we discovered they were behind schedule, about an hour, so Jeri and I had a conferance and decided that Jeri would take our pickup and go to Jaycie's and I would wait until she was through with the agony and then I would take her home. Well, after 2 hours we were on the way to Woods Cross, and because of the anthsetic Jayci was as loopy as any can be. After Jayci was safely enconched in her car I drove her home. She slept all of the way home and as we intered her driveway her phone rang and she tried to talk to Dan but she was not making in sense so Lee, along with her mother was helping Jayci to amble into her house. After she was safely setteled on her couch I Walgreen's to get some meds for her; after I was informed that it would take 45 minutes I went home and made a loof of bread and then to Great Harvest Bakery and bought some bread for Lee. And of course I stopped at Walgreen's and picked-up the meds and then went to Jayci's and she was still asleep. Lee called later in the evening and she still wasn't making any sense. But that is just as it is with Jayci.lol Oh, by the way, the loaf of bread I made was excellent as it allways is.:)

Then in the evening we watched some basketball on TV but then, anyone who knows Jeri very well will not surprised at that happening.

Today it is not snowing but is rather chilly; in the very low 30s. I'm hoping that Spring will be here soon. If there is anything of good report I shall fill you in, and if you need any guidance don't be bashful and just ask.:)
