Saturday, May 9 2009.

Another week is almost gone and the weather here is really great. Today I cleaned most of my tools out of the basement of the trailer and all of the sundry items that go along with this kinda stuff, which means, nuts and bolts, screws, nails, etc etc, and I repaired one of our canvas chairs. We then went into Mike's back yard and Jeri did what she likes to do most, and that is putting Shepard hooks in the so that stuff can be put around yard that reflects the sun, and a lizard that is crawling up the barrel that is hooked up to a pitcher pump; if you don't know what a pitcher pump is go the story of my youth. While we were doing this Mike and Christian was pulling weeds, cleaning tables and benches, the grill and the eating tables and the umbrella over the table.

While we were doing these things; Coal, their dog, escaped and as of this writing hasn't been apprehended as of this writing which is about four hours from the time he went missing, and Christian is very sad because of him being gone. It is my hope that one of the neighbor kids will find him and escort him home and I'm sure that Marin will be upset also.

Keven & Becky came out to see Jeri this afternoon and brought her a gift and stayed an hour or so, which was really nice, and then they boarded their motorcycle and went home.

For some reason the time stamp on this blog is about one hour different that what time here, it appears that it my be Pacific Standard time. That's all for now.

  2. feel sad for christian that coal went missing...that's a hard thing for a young boy to deal with. :( Also, blogger time stamps EVERYTHING in Pacific time zone...how rude of them!

  4. You can change the timestamp to reflect a different time zone. There are a number of options for the timestamp. When you sign in to your blog, click on Settings, then Formatting, then the 4th column down is the timestamp format. You can select minutes, seconds, just the day, whatever you choose. The 5th column down is the time zone. You can select which time zone is appropriate. Hope that helps!
