SATURDAY: Was a very uninteresting day, except for the three hours we spent with Kevin and Becky; we were invited to their place for pizza and and a movie, to celebrate my birthday, and we had a great time. It rained rather hard on the way to their place and was still sprinkling on our way home.Well, maybe it was more interesting than I thought seeing that I arose shortly after five AM, don't ask me why, it just seems that after 7 or 8 hours in bed I need to get on my feet.

SUNDAY: Today was much more interesting to me. Church was a typical Fast and Testimony meeting, which means some people did indeed bare a testimony and it seemed that a couple got up so we could hear them talk.:( Sunday School was great; Sister Gardner gave a good lesson but she can't come close to Mike as teachers go, and I'm not just saying that because he is my son, and Priesthood meeting was excellent; Bob Kime is a great teacher and I always tell him so, I want him to know that I don't harbor any animosity toward him anymore.

While I was trying to listen to one of those who bare their testimony every month my mind started to wonder and I went back to my pre-earth existence and reminisced about the conversation that I might have had with Father. It went something like this; I promise that I will do everything You want me to, and He replied "no you won't!" "However, I have a plan so that you can still come back and live with Me forever; I shall supply a Savior that will take upon Himself all of your sins if you will repent of your sins, or there is a better way even than that, and that is for you to not do anything wrong but I know you won't be successful at that so be sure that you repent of all sins. I want you to return to Me so be sure to do what you are told." I know that I didn't do the first thing He suggested so I must avail myself of the offer to place my burdens on His shoulders.

This afternoon the weatherman put on a short show for us, we had lightning and thunder for a minute or two and then the storm was gone, which was a good thing. Mike and Maren are still in Las Vegas, it will interesting to hear what they did today.:)

Oh, by the way, I lost my blog out in never-never land but some diligence I finally found it; I always wonder where things go to hide from me.
